Rosco Flamex™ Barrier FR Paint

Rosco's first paint product with Flame Retardant built in. Zero-VOC (no volatile organic compounds), water based, vinyl-acrylic, intumescent paint. BARRIER FR provides a Class A fire retardant rating when properly applied to the most common materials used in scenery, props and staging. BARRIER FR has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of most commercial building codes and should be used to treat scenic elements set downstage of the fire curtain.
Rosco Barrier FR dries to a matte finish. It can be diluted up to 10% with water or tinted with Scenic Paints to create a colored base coat. Barrier FR is suitable as a back paint, a finish layer or base coat that can be painted over with other scenic paints and coatings. Available in white and black.
