Rose Brand is the leading provider of flame retardant theatrical fabrics for the entertainment and event industries because we have the widest and deepest in-stock inventory. In-stock inventory means most orders ship same day if placed by 2pm eastern time. Look for the red rose logo for assurance of huge selection, speedy delivery and high-quality fabrics at wholesale prices. Use our
Fabric Finder ColorApp to search for fabrics by color, price, flame retardancy, width, opacity, or sheen. You can also browse by "type of fabric" such as muslin, duvetyn, velour, stretch, scrim, canvas, commando, acoustical, sheer, silk, satin, inherently flame retardant, etc. Browse our fabrics by use, too, such as opaque masking blackout, scenic painting, acoustic soundproofing, outdoor, projection, stage curtains, tent, keying and more.
We recommend that you purchase a sample of fabric if you're looking for a specific color shade. Once fabric is cut to size for your order, it can't be returned.
When you purchase a flame retardant fabric from us, we'll provide you with a certificate that indicates the flame retardancy tests that the fabric has passed. Keep these certificates on hand to show your fire marshal. It's best to check in with your fire marshal before making any large purchases of scenery or fabric in order to understand your fire safety requirements and to obtain pre-approval of the substrates and items you intend to use.
Flame retardant fabrics are labeled FR or IFR. FR fabrics have been treated to be flame retardant while IFR fabrics are inherently flame retardant. The advantage of IFR fabrics is that the flame retardancy will not wash out. Note that we also sell flame retardants on our site for treatment of items that are not yet fire safe.
