Lighter and brighter than plate glass, Glassless mirrors are made from a highly reflective metalized polyester film vacuum-stretched around a frame. These shatterproof mirrors have three mounting options -- wall mount, rolling stand, and stationary stand. The mirror panel comes with wall mounting hardware, but rolling stands and stationary stands are sold separately (please include them as desired in your selection of items on this page).
Glassless mirrors are a perfect replacement for heavy, glass mirrors in dance studios, gyms, physical therapy and fitness centers, schools, theaters, casinos, nightclubs, physical therapy centers, dressing rooms, lobbies, almost anywhere!
The reflected image is brighter than a glass or plastic mirror, and the surface won't shatter or break. They provide the most reflective optical image available.
Glassless mirrors are lightweight and take only minutes to install. They are easy to clean and self-extinguishing in the event of fire. They can be mounted on the vertical or horizontal.
The Standard Silver is 86% reflective (a bathroom mirror is only 70%). While outdoor use is not recommended, they normally will not fog in high humidity areas such as bathrooms. Mirror thickness (depth) is 1.25 inches.
Glassless mirrors are also available in bi-fold, tri-fold (2 legs 2' x 6' and one leg 4' x 6') and ceiling tile formats. Call to order custom sizes and also Scrim Mirrors (i.e., 2-way mirrors).
These mirrors must also ship by truck and dimensional weight may apply. For large orders, you will be contacted regarding freight charges. Please allow a 2-3 weeks lead time before shipping for all sizes except 4' x 6', 4' x 8' and 5' x 8' which will ship within three days. There are no returns accepted on this product.
To clean:
Start by blowing off loose debris with canned air or a compressor (for a large area). Spray Windex liberally on a non-abrasive or optical grade cloth (NOT paper towels). Use short, wiping strokes in one direction; not a circular motion. Clean only the areas that need cleaning. When handling the mirrors, wear cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints.
