Canvas is a durable, heavyweight, tightly woven cotton fabric, also know as duck cloth. It’s commonly used for ground cloths, murals and decorative floor cloths. Canvas is usually described by its weight, in ounces per square yard. Our canvas is sold unprimed and comes in widths from 60" to up to 32’9" and weights from 6 to 18 ounces. Canvas is often confused as fabric for backdrops, but it’s too heavy for that purpose. Instead, see Muslin if your intended use of the fabric is for a backdrop.
