Boston Ballet - Precision Cut Fabric

Rose Brand’s project management team provided Precision Cutting Technology to produce the intricate lacy quality of this drop designed by Benjamin Phillips for the Boston Ballet.

Working hand in hand with Boston based Mystic Scenic Studios, Rose Brand’s project management team provided Precision Cutting Technology to produce the intricate lacy quality of this drop designed by Benjamin Phillips for the Boston Ballet. Using our 22 oz. Encore™ Velour as the base fabric, the precise cuts were etched throughout the fabric, leaving a clean, fray-free edge. Mystic’s team of scenic artists stabilized the open areas of the precision cut Encore™ Velour by gluing it to our Tiger Gauze netting.
