What’s the difference between gaffers tape and duct tape?

While people tend to think duct tape is the only solution when adhesive strength is a concern, gaffers tape offers the same strength with the added benefit of helping events and productions, with no sticky adhesive residue. With gaffers tape, you can have peace of mind that your lights are secure or your wires are concealed without the worry of leaving behind a residue after use. 

Can the tape be exposed to wet conditions?

Our tape is weather-resistant but not weatherproof. As long as you apply the tape to a dry, clean surface, it should adhere just fine, and water shouldn’t affect it. The only reason it would lose its adhesion is if the tape is exposed to heavy amounts of water over an extended period of time. 

Can you reuse the tape after peeling it off?

Yes! This tape has strong adhesive, making it perfectly suited for multiple uses. However, one thing to keep in mind is the material to which the tape will adhere. If you’re using the tape on a carpeted surface, for example, it could pick up tiny bits of dirt and fibers, which could affect its full adhesive properties and reusability. It’s always important to ensure the surface is clean before use, and if there is any concern, use a new piece of tape.
