Most ADC track systems have several carrier options. There are 3 main types with different advantages.

• Standard wheel carriers. The most economical carriers are a molded nylon or plastic that rides on a rivet or bushing.
• Nylon tired ball bearing wheels offer smoother movement and higher capacity than standard carriers.
• Neoprene tired ball bearing wheels are softer and quieter. Note: because of the softer wheel material, neoprene carriers often require spacers to keep the wheels from binding on each other.

 

With many systems, ADC offers the option of pulleys with larger wheels. The larger pulleys reduce friction and make the drapes easier to move. This can be especially useful for heavier curtains or in venues such as schools where young people may be operating the curtain.
