Kabuki Drop Systems
The kabuki drop is a special effect in which a lightweight fabric is dropped swiftly from above to conceal or reveal your product, space, or performers. The Rose Brand Kabuki System is lightweight, modular, and easy to employ. The Rose Brand Kabuki System is capable of both single and double kabuki effects.
The single kabuki consists of either a concealing curtain that drops in or a revealing curtain that drops to the floor. The double kabuki is a two-step process which begins with the curtain stored above, out of sight. The first kabuki drop mechanism releases the curtain into its concealing position. A second trip releases the curtain to the floor for the reveal.
Unlike competitors' systems, which require multiple trip mechanisms, the Rose Brand Kabuki System can operate a full stage single kabuki drop on just one trip kabuki drop mechanism. Add one more for the double kabuki effect. Learn more on the product pages below. We sell complete systems and parts.
Snow & Confetti Machines
Our classic Snowstar theatrical snow and confetti machines are motorized, rotating, perforated-aluminum tubes that deliver snow and confetti effects from a dusting to a blizzard. 5-foot-long drums, each 8 inches in diameter, connect to create the desired stage length. Just one motor drives 1 to 16 connected 5-foot sections.

Do you offer rental options for the kabuki drop systems and snow machines?
Yes! We offer the Rose Brand Kabuki Drop System for rental, as well as the Chabuki System and SnowStar machines. While we don’t offer the Chabuki System for sale, it’s a great rental option for those who want the flexibility of a single-point drop unit.
Can the Rose Brand Kabuki System accommodate a double effect?
The Rose Brand Kabuki System is definitely capable of doing both single and double kabuki effects. Single drops are when you need either a concealing kabuki drop curtain to drop in or a revealing curtain to fall to the floor. A double drop system allows for a curtain to drop first as a concealing curtain and then to fall a second time to the stage.
